BIO

My journey

From a young age I’ve been a curious and creative hard worker, feeling antsy while I was idle. Throughout my life I have developed a passion for drumming, art, people, reading, researching, traveling, and outdoor recreation. Seeking out unique experiences is what propels me forward.

As I have had to pleasure of finding out, college is not about proving yourself to others like how it often is in high school. It's about proving yourself to yourself. My freshman year of college allowed me to start filling my time with things I actually wanted to do. This included changing my major from Business to International Studies after a life-changing study abroad trip to Peru and actively playing music with friends, among other things.

My biggest accomplishment was receiving the Boren Scholarship to study Portuguese in Brazil in sophomore year, and although the COVID-19 pandemic delayed travel for 2 years, I am finally able to go for my last semester of undergrad.

Represent USF and embody school pride as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic housing guide.
Communicate to prospective students and their families the unique experience of on-campus living.
Actively engage and establish meaningful connections with prospective students.

SECURITY GUARD, USF CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM

January 2019 - January 2022

Monitors visitors as they tour the museum to ensure they are respecting the personal space of the artwork.
Greet visitors at the front desk, providing them with information about the museum and the current exhibition with a friendly smile.
Participates with the set up and take down of various museum events and receptions.
Possesses knowledge of overall museum operations, including opening/closing of the building and electrical/technological duties.
